In pursuit of these ambitious objectives, RGF Staffing is now seeking a Sustainability Professional to complement their existing team.
Position
As a Sustainability Professional, your role is pivotal in driving RGF's environmental action plans and fostering partnerships with local environmental experts. Your responsibilities include collecting and analyzing environmental data, enhancing carbon footprint measurement, and utilizing this data to support strategic decision-making. Acting as a trusted business partner, you'll assess the effectiveness of environmental initiatives, identify optimization opportunities, and track progress towards sustainability targets.
Additionally:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones to develop and implement comprehensive environmental action plans aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Serve as the main contact for audits and certifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and overseeing the preparation and submission of CSRD related data.
- Develop and manage sustainability-related performance indicators and reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
- Collaborate with local subject matters experts to understand regional challenges and opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Provide expertise on environmental sustainability, offering guidance and support to opcos.
- Share best practices and innovative solutions to promote continuous improvement in environmental performance, thereby minimizing RGF’s environmental impact.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and regulations in environmental sustainability, advising on potential implications for the organization.
Profile
Your proactive, flexible and positive attitude will drive continuous improvement in RGF’s sustainability practices. By effectively managing environmental actions and data and communicating findings to internal stakeholders, you will contribute significantly to their organization's commitment to sustainable business practices and environmental stewardship.
Education and Experience:
- Master's Degree in a relevant area.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Sustainability.
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
- Strong track record in stakeholder management.
Skills & knowledge:
- Highly analytical with the ability to translate complex data into comprehensive business proposals.
- Familiarity with CO2 emission measurement, reporting, and target setting and its implications for sustainability reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and scenario modelling.
Communication and Style:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proactive, flexible, and positive attitude.
- Ability to transform complex subject matter into logical and manageable process steps.
- Strong execution power with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong skills in crafting engaging and informative PowerPoint presentations.
- Ability to adapt and expand responsibilities to encompass various sustainability tasks as needed.
