For Redevco, we are looking for a Associate Director Accounting to join its Amsterdam-based Finance Centre of Excellence. To support its continued growth and transformation, the company is further strengthening its Finance organisation through a centralised Finance Centre of Excellence in Amsterdam, serving approximately 140 legal entities across Europe.
Positie
As Associate Director Accounting, you will play a key role in further developing Redevco's international accounting function. You will lead a team of approximately 12 financial professionals (9 financial accountants, 3 AP) and ensure high quality financial reporting, strong governance and continuous process improvement across multiple European jurisdictions.
Working closely with Financial Control, Tax, Group Finance and external stakeholders, you will drive standardisation, automation and the further professionalisation of the Finance Centre of Excellence (Shared Services Centre). Besides leading the team, you will act as a trusted sparring partner on complex accounting matters, compliance and reporting, while contributing to the strategic development of the finance organisation.
This position reports directly to the Director Group Control.
Profiel
We are looking for an experienced accounting leader who combines strong technical expertise with an engaging leadership style. You know how to build and develop high performing teams within an international environment and feel comfortable operating in a dynamic organisation undergoing transformation.
You bring:
- A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics or a related field
- A professional qualification such as RA, CPA or ACCA is preferred
- Proven leadership experience within Accounting, Financial Control or a comparable finance environment
- Experience in an international, multi entity organisation, preferably within a Shared Service Centre or Centre of Excellence
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting and financial controls
- Experience driving process improvements, standardisation and finance transformation
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to connect Finance, Tax, IT and the business
- Fluency in both English and Dutch
- Experience within real estate is considered an advantage.
