We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Head of People & Culture.

For a leading manufacturer with multiple sites and a strong local presence in the Netherlands, we are seeking a Head of People & Culture. Recently acquired by a global, publicly traded organization, the Dutch business unit retains its entrepreneurial and people-focused culture. The organization is growing rapidly and driven by innovation, operational excellence, sustainable development, and international expansion.

Positie

As Head of People & Culture, you will have full responsibility for the HR function in the Netherlands. You’ll translate the international people strategy into effective, local execution—while ensuring connection and engagement at all levels of the organization.

 

You will lead the Dutch HR team and drive initiatives in:

  • Talent and leadership development
  • Succession planning
  • Cultural transformation and employee engagement
  • Organizational development and HR operations


You will be a sparring partner to the Dutch leadership team and the link between the production site and the wider international HR organization.

 

Profiel

You are an experienced, all-round HR leader with a strong track record in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments—ideally within manufacturing or similar operational settings. You bring both strategic vision and a pragmatic, hands-on approach. With deep expertise across the HR spectrum, you know how to translate policy into practice and guide organizations through growth and professionalization.


You connect easily with people at all levels—from production floor to executive board—and understand how to embed a strong local culture within a larger international framework.


You bring:

  • 10+ years of broad HR experience, including leadership roles in international, matrix organizations.
  • A strong background in organizational development, engagement, talent, and succession planning.
  • Experience with Works Councils and complex change processes, including operating model design.
  • A data- and process-driven mindset, with hands-on experience in HR analytics and digital tools (e.g., Workday).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Dutch labor law and HR best practices.
  • An entrepreneurial, resilient, and solution-focused mindset.
  • Full working proficiency in Dutch and English.

 

This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving business with deep local roots and growing international ambition.


Salary indication: €120–140k per year, excluding variable compensation.
