Fremantle Group is one of the world's largest content producers. Fremantle operates globally through their network of labels and coproduction partners and they are proud to work with some of the best writers, producers, directors, actors and presenters from all over the world. Fremantle Group is experiencing strong global growth through acquisition and organic expansion. In this context, at the end of 2021, Fremantle completed the acquisition of 12 production labels in the Nordics from the NENT Group. The companies are now part of the Fremantle Nordics family. This marked a significant change for the countries and labels in Northern Europe. Fremantle Group has opted for a regional structure with the ambition to be a region where all countries and various labels are connected and collaborate optimally.


To optimally support the region in this new structure and further contribute to its development, we are seeking for an experienced HR Director Northern Europe


Positie

There is a need for a HR Director to further support Fremantle Northern Europe on the human side of HR. The organization is professionalizing, but competition in the production world is also significant. Service orientation and taking good care of your own employees are highly valued. Finding, attracting, engaging, and retaining people is essential, especially in a tight labor market and a growing need for employee engagement. 

Profiel

You are a modern, robust, and hands-on HR professional with a clear and refreshing vision on HR. You are someone who doesn't complicate things but touches the essence. You are socially adept, naturally interested in people, capable of handling difficult conversations, and have a good sense of relationships. You understand the dynamics within an international organization and thrive in a creative environment that is always active, embracing the values of Fremantle. 


  • Extensive years of HR experience, including several years in a HR leadership position. 
  • Extensive experience working in an international organization, preferably in Northern Europe. 
  • Experience in being a trusted advisor but also a challenger for managers and directors.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, talent management, employee relations, learning & development and D&I.
  • Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations in one or more of the countries in Northern Europe.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset and ability to think critically, but also hands-on.
  • Entrepreneurial, independent and self-reflective.
  • Willing to make decisions and cost-conscious.
  • Empathetic, integer and a sense of humor.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Flexible and willing to travel frequently to the Nordics. The location for this role is in the Netherlands.
