Organization
Our client has a strong presence in Northern Europe, including Sweden, Denmark, and the Netherlands, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Director to join their team. We are looking for a dynamic HR leader with a passion for organizational excellence and creating an engaging work environment.
Position
As the People Director, you will play a critical role in shaping the people strategy, driving employee engagement, and fostering a culture of excellence and inclusion across the region. You will actively participate as a key member of the Regional Management Team of Northern Europe, attending all meetings and serving as a dedicated sparring partner in shaping our clients' ambitions together. Leading a team of 4 HR professionals located in the three countries you will be responsible for, you will provide guidance, advice, and support on HR matters in a proactive way. Collaboration and leveraging the expertise of international HR teams based abroad will be essential. Additionally, you will be an active member of the global HR leadership group, contributing to the sharing of best practices internationally. You will also have the opportunity to actively participate in cross-border projects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.
- Extensive experience working in a complex, multinational organization, preferably in Northern Europe.
- Generalistic HR experience within professional organizations, including experience with change processes, leadership, and culture.
- Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations in one or more of the countries.
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, talent management, and employee relations.
- Experience serving on a Leadership Management Team is a plus.
- Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience in driving organizational change initiatives and managing HR projects.
- Strategic mindset and ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in HR analytics and reporting tools.
- Fluency in English; fluency in Dutch is not required.
- Flexible and willing to travel. The preferred location for this role is in the Netherlands.
