For an international organisation we are looking for a Chief People Officer (CPO).
Organisation
The organization is a wholly owned subsidiary of a larger parent company based abroad. Established in the mid 1990s, it is headquartered in The Netherlands and employs approximately 300 people across several countries in Europe. The organization operates as a Marketing, Sales, and Service entity and has grown into a key player within the histopathology industry.
Position
The CPO is a senior people leader and possesses broad and deep expertise in the field of HR. You are a strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing and executing a long-term HR strategy in scaling, international organizations. You are an inspiring leader and a key driver of the strategy by building strong teams that enable accelerated organizational growth. Visible and approachable, with an excellent understanding of what is going on. You are driven by a strong passion to contribute to building the company.
Profile
The ideal candidate will bring the following skills and experiences:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of international HR leadership experience, preferably in a technical oriented sales and marketing organisation
- Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives
- Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with business objectives
- Proven ability to execute on vision, with a hands-on approach to creating and implementing a unique people and culture strategy.
- Understanding of employment laws and HR best practices across EMEA
- Strategic, positive, and innovative mindset with a balance of pragmatism and speed
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Due to the international character of the company there will be some travelling within Europe required for this role.
